Back Up!

">
In recent events, we know that Britney Spears was taken to the hospital for the second time, but we were not informed that LA police had to spend $25,000 on escort and police officers just to get her to the hospital because the paparazzi was in their way. The city has proposed a new law aimed to protect celebrities from aggressive paparazzi. It’s referred to as the “personal safety zone”. The law suggests setting a minimum amount of feet that the paparazzi may stand from the person that the picture is being taken of. The law has not yet been passed, but there are many controversial issues that arise if this law is passed. Are we going against the 14th Amendment which guarantees equal protection under the law, and are celebrities getting more protection.
I always wondered why there was no law protecting celebrities from the paparazzi. They give them no space and make rude comments. If you were constantly being followed and taken photos of in your worst moments, the 14th amendment would be a poor defense, regular people have their space and their lives aren’t exposed to the world. The video that I have posted involves Britney Spears and the paparazzi.
